Hi! Skylar here. I am around 2 to 3 years old and around 12 lbs. Aren't I a cutie pie? Unfortunately, I came from a very negative living situation and was not socialized. My foster mom has been really working with me to gain my trust. It is working pretty well. I now come out of my kennel to greet her with a smile and a whole body wiggle! I still have some qualms about being picked up and receiving kisses and being petted but my foster mom is confident with time, love and patience I am going to keep making great strides.

What I do love is the foster puppy and one of the foster dogs. I love to play and run and wrestle with them! And when my mom is sitting in her chair, I love to come up and put my paws on her knees and bark until she scratches under my chin!

I am in need of a home that has lots of love, patience and time. I will need to have a younger, well socialized, playful dog to help me further build my confidence level. And a secure fenced in yard is a must. My foster mom says I'm really a sweetie with a little attitude.

Skylar's adoption fee is $350, which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter. Please note that we only accept cash or checks - no credit cards.
